Apparently you've only met a few Americans (and ones who happen to be rather uneducated I guess). I'd say that they're the minority; at least compared to the ones around where I'm from. My state's education system is close to, if not the best, in the US. I believe many schools here could be on par with those in the UK (which is where I'm guessing you originally hail from).

Ah yes, television. You see, the producers at the sh*tty Fox network purposefully want dumb contestants on those shows because they think it's entertaining for the rest of us. If you'd notice the title, it implies that such knowledge is appropriate for a fifth-grader.

It's interesting to note that the people in many of those "dumb American" clips on that Youtube page are Southerners. I won't say anything because I don't want to offend anyone on here that might be from the South, but still... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/icon_twisted.gif

i never said anything about this being a american forum, far from it.

The problem is that this is an English forum. That means everyone here either speaks English as his/her first, or has studied it for a couple of years(like me). 1/3 of people here may be Americans/Canadians, but not of the whole IL2 community. To me, there seems to be way more Russians(and generally people from ex CCCP countries and their "satellites") than Americans. Perhaps not on a typical arcade deathmatch server, but go try online wars (or ADW)... You better learn speak Russian quick or you're dead. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

It is strange that you put 'Britain Wales Ireland' like you believe Great Britain is only England and Scotland...

Great Britain = England, Scotland and Wales

You might as well put British Isles as that includes the whole of Ireland including the countries listed above.

And I come from England just to add to the poll
