http://www.faqs.org/docs/air/avme262.html
"A single "Me-262-2a/U1" Sturmvogel derivative was built with an experimental bombsight system, and one or two "Me-262A-2a/U2s" Sturmvogel derivatives were built with glass noses and a Lotfe 7H bombsight for a prone bombardier to permit horizontal bombing. Neither of these experiments proved successful."

.... The next generation of Mistel was based on the fastest available aircraft and mated two Me262's, the lower filled with a warhead in the nose and the upper as the command aircraft. This double decker combination was mounted on a special five-wheeled trolley. "

Those are really nice models. Nice work indeed.

I made models for about 25 years until the PC corrupted me, really appreciate the skill they involve. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

Cool, I've seen the top photo before but never the Mistel version.

Too bad development is coming to a close. Although the top photo was only experimental... Mistel aircraft recieved favor from Goering and realistic scenairo would definitely involve these jet Mistels.
