'46 has 99% of mission/campaign content of original IL-2 Sturmovik

This is really great news. When FB (Forgotten Battles) came out, it did not include the original content of IL-2 Sturmovik. For that reason I designed the UQMM (UberQuick Mission Manager) module for UQMG with an option to transfer the original IL-2 content into FB/AEP/PF provided both are installed in the same hard-drive.

Upon investigating '46 I found that all the original content of IL-2 Sturmovik is there. All Single Player missions from the original release, and the 3 original semi-static campaigns are there as well (Russian "Fighter", Russian "Bomber", and German "Fighter"). Only the original coops and the Add-on content is not there.

In supmmary, this is what is not included from original IL-2:
- 5x Original IL-2 Coop missions
- 5x FW-190A-5 SP missions (from an Add-on)
- 1x Bf-109E7Z SP mission (from an Add-on)
- 4x Ju-87B-2 SP missions (from an Add-on)
- 5x Yak-9 SP missions (from an Add-on)
- Bi-1 Static Mini Campaign by Luthier (from an Add-on)
... and obviously, the content from the two IL-2 Demos

IVAN, if Oleg/Luthier don't mind, I could make a quick addon for the community with these in a convenient zip file... would be a nice touch...

Anyway, will let ya'll know about UQMG updates as they come... right now I am having too much fun (or lack of it) trying to make that Lerche thing work... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

That's a shame about the B-1 campaign, it's a gem. The cutscene tracks are just nice too. The missions from the (2nd, legal) demo would be a trip down memory lane...

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.
