Hi,

I hope I landed in the right forum, so here we go.
I have no experience whatsoever in multiplayer mode (so please bear with me) but from what I've seen in other games it's not my cup of tea.
I suppose the full details of the sequel haven't been revealed, but I'd like to understand the implications of having a multiplayer mode.
Can the multiplayer mode be completely ignored and still be able to fully enjoy the game (locations, missions, weapons, etc)?
Will there be any interaction with other players in single player mode? Last thing I would like to see is hundreds of Ezios running around like crazy and bumping into each other (kinda like Guild Wars, lol).

Any help is appreciated.

There is a full 15+ hours campaign or story mode, so you don't ever have to play multiplayer. It's a full story mode. I would imagine, however, that you'll want to try multiplayer out. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

You won't be able to play as other characters than Ezio (I imagine), but there'll obviously be other characters in the game. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

lol, you think its going to be an MMO?

To answer that question, no. If your multiplayer experience is in MMOs, and you do not like them, that does not carry into other multiplayer games. You should expand your horizons. Like most multiplayer games you will find and join a lobby. This lobby will only hold like 8 people in them, not like the massive servers in MMOs. Then you play the game, kill other people, etc... Again like regular multiplayer games the map is of limited size(but due to the nature of the game it the maps are larger than say CoD), unlke MMOs where the maps are huge. When the game ends, and you start/join a new game. Again it is very different from MMOs. But the multiplayer itself is very different from most other games. Requiring stealth and deceit instead of an itchy trigger finger. Because it sounds like AC:B multiplayer is different from any multiplayer you know(it's not like MMOs or FPSs) you should give it a shot.

Then the single player is completely separate. The single player is like how AC2 is now, except with new innovations.

In other words, AC:B is not an MMO, and for good reasons. The multiplayer and single player are completely separate, and are both going to be awesome!

Oh,
Thanks for clarifying that, I feel relieved and anxious to get the game at the same time http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
