Thought I was doing well a few months ago when I got an X800XT for under GB£50...well I couldnt believe my eyes when I bought an X1900XT from Ebay Ireland for ...wait for it !!!!......GB£55/88 euro /under $110 US.Man am I pleased with myself.I paid almost 6 times this for an X1900XTX which gave me no end of trouble and in the end was returned for a refund...
Anyway heres a comparison

Black death Track x6/x16 AA/AF 1024x768 (to see the dots online !!!)

Opteron 146 at 2.8
1 gig OCZ Plat Rev2

Everything maxxed more or less but not Perfect Water/Landscape...

X800XT at PE speeds 36/61/25 avg/max/min

X1900XT 66/138/22
X1900XT at XTX speeds 67/138/24 (ie not worth the potential grief for 1 fps!!!)

While the fps are great if I was being rational and HADNT stolen it (well got it cheap)The X800XT is good enough for this sim and anything better is just speeding up the fps mostly...But when I sell my X800XT this upgrade will have cost me buttons...
