Hi all,

I realise that this subject has no doubt been answered before, but after doing an 'advanced search' in the forums I have found nothing.

I have two Win2K PC's, running through a hub/router that have complete visibility of each other across the network (pings etc).

I run up a COOP multiplayer server (not dedicated) on one of the machines and try to connect with the other on the correct IP:Port.
But all I get is a message to the effect of "Unable to establsh a connection to server: connect disabled".

What does this message actually mean? In what way is something 'disabled' so that I cannot connect?

Advice please if you can - cheers,

Ooooh,

Think I may have found the answer in the 'Community Help' section.

It seems this is the error message that appears when a co-op is in progress, so I must have been stupidly clicking 'Fly' before connecting with the other machine http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

In your Il2-FB folder there is a setup.exe, you can choose the connection type and select an i.p. (internet/lan) for host machine. Hope it helps...Last time i formated my drives, I had trouble connecting my two PCs. If they see each other your in the right directio. Il2 is a great Lan game, worth the effort. The online campain is fun, some of my friends have been introduced (forced to play) to IL2 now they love it (or so they say http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif)

Slick

Thanks for the reply.
I managed to connect in the end, I was just having a dumb moment at the time and realised where I was going wrong.

Thanks for the help and happy flying!
