That is my bomb splash you see.

If she hadn't moved sideways it would have hit her dead center!

Well maybe ...you have to take in the deck height out of the water and I did attack from the port side.

Nah just a hybrid carrier/tugboat with bow, midship and stern thrusters thats all!!!Heard the IJN was lookin fer a better way to maneuver in port being that all of their tugs were converted into suicide boats!! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/10.gif

This was a single player mission, not online.

After I died I watched the battle for awhile. She kept making this same sideway slip, then go straight for awhile then slip again.

I have not tried to repeat it yet, I will later if this is a real issue, just phising for other such encounters in the community.

HAHHAHA, Nice dodge! Didnt realize that WW2 era ships were fitted with thrusters! Those carriers are fast,
Seriously its either lag, or the mission designer didnt use enough waypoints in describing the ships turn to make it smooth and it caused a "hiccup'

Definately a need fer evasive maneuvering script to be included when the aa starts.
But dont take me word fer it just wait until torpedo bombers that may or may NOT come anytime to hear the evasive maneuver topic to be really beaten upon!!!

Just be thankful that wasn't your carrier trying to do that while you were on final!

Actually now a days in real life that is done (though to a reasonable degree) with "thrusters"..Literally props that push on the sides of the ship to push it flush into port or in some cases help manuever.

Obviously lag here though OR a new secret experimental defense device no doubt intended to be mounted onto the side of Japan itself to move it out of the way of the big one coming...
