I'm probably wasting my energy typing, since I'm sure this will never get addressed, but the lack or armored glass for the Ju-88 is disappointing at best. I can't tell you how many times I've had one hit PK's in the Ju-88. Never pink goggles, rarely a shot up cockpit, but a PK no matter what.

It's frustrating. I'd like it addressed, but I doubt it ever will be.

Whining is only if something is already right, but you want it to be (unjustified) another way and tell everything that is needed to get it.
What he did is addressing a (serious) issue. Now quit whining about him whining (what he is not doing), you little crybaby. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/mockface.gif

Did the Ju-88 have armoured glass? I agree the seat needs looking at, I mean it is too easy to get PKs from 6 in my experience but damn that looks like a goldfish bowl, could it resist MGs (not cannon for sure)? Serious comment.

There is several planes where it seems you get that magic bullet pilot kill.

I think it is quite embarrassing to have messed up such a major plane so badly. Does look like they give much about their reputation.

The number of PK deaths in the Ju88 is inaccurate and as it is a pivotal bomber for Axis forces something neds to be done to bring it's armour up to spec.

I wonder, is something similar happening with the Mosquito?
Were they similarly protected?
As I can't see any 'Mosquito PK too often!' threads I think its a safe bet that all is well with the mossie! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif

You HAD to make it "red vs. blue" didn't you? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif The Mosquito is actually rather fragile and can't take many hits in my experience. Except for the PK problem (which exists it has been shown) I'd feel safer in the Ju-88.

Ju-88 is structurally very strong as it should be, but most of the time when you see guys making multiple passes they are attacking a plane with no crew (except the immortal ventral gunner)

IL2 1946 Human Piloted Ju88's are death traps, PK's from dead 6 along/through the fuselage to pilot seat, wing fire damage dont know any other german aircraft in IL2 that has wings catch on fire and then explode from minimal lmg hits.

Anyhow its not being fixed to why bother to mention these things anymore theres too many problems with the aircraft including sink rate etc, just make sure you have good escorts and fly it before 1942.
