Some of u know that i am new. But while i am waiting for FB, what are the realism settings in most multiplayer games. I find in very hard to fly the 109 in the IL2 Demo, I have learned to accept that u just can pull back on the stick as hard as u can lol. I also learned that when the 109 in the demo is above 310 speed, u can pull the stick as hard as u want, but under 310, u must easy off it but u still turn at the same rate.

Anyways I just thought i should practice for the multiplayer settings instead of total realism, which can still be fun.

Btw how much is the aces expasion pack?

servers vary a lot

multiplayer co-ops tend to be harder setting often with complex engine management no externals and icons off

dogfight servers are all over the place but expect at a minimum ... limited ammo and fuel, realistic takeoffs and landings and spins enabled.

Servers come in all shapes and sizes, so expect to find anything you want. There's everything from arcade "air start and shoot down" type places, full stick places which have every realism option enabled... As well as mixes of the two. My personal fave is Warclouds 44+, which has full real settings (the exception being realism icon settings that only show plane type and serial number at close range), a limited 1944 western front planeset, and a teamspeak server.

Hell, there's even biplane servers, jet servers, **** plane servers, and air racing servers. Not to mention Co-ops.

I would definitely say it's best to go to realism servers. Getting used to the game by using crutches like externals and wonder woman view can hurt your game in the long run.

You usually find Minimap Path and Speedbar off (not options in the demo IIRC), Limited Ammo and Limited Fuel on, all the flight physics on, Realistic Landings on and Realistic Gunnery on.

Most of the variety is centered around view options, things like No Cockpit, Icons, Clouds, Padlock, External Views. You can generally find dogfight mode servers in just about any mix of these view settings, though as mentioned above coop servers tend to be more on the harder settings side.
