My dad recently had some old film reels converted, which have footage he recorded whilst on operations in Germany with No.4 Squadron; I think it was around the very early 80s.

I have made a video featuring footage of Harriers out on these operations and also a Red Arrows display he filmed as a bonus.

File is 200mb and the video lasts about 20 mins.

Sadly there isn't any sound and I didn't want to add music incase my tastes didn't suit other folks, so I would listen to your own music whilst watching.

Forgot to mention, around 14 mins in the video (the shots with the T bird) my old man is in the back seat.

Jammy sod got to go up for a spin quite a few times.

Thank you, excellent GR-1 footage. Classic cold war deployment, be a real pain in a fast mover trying to find that base. Even if you had a map. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif
