I saw this corsair at an airshow yesterday. Anybody know what kind it is? Looks to me like a korean war era but i dunno.

Probably F4U-4. The chin intake under the engine is the biggest give away.

It could be a even later model which has a designation that escapes me that was designed for low altitude ground attack.

Pretty much a Korean war type rather than WWII.

Too bad it wasn't a F2G Corsair now there is a plane.

Vought F4U-4 Corsair Bureau number (Bu#97264), registered on the French register as F-AZVJ, and owned by Christophe Jacquard. Previously owned by Charles Hall of Pinedale, Wyoming as recently as 1995.
