This link has been posted so often and I still fail to see the use of this article!

It starts "turning had no use in WWII air combat"

then one page about turning abilities and that the La5 is better as it turns better???

He tells the 109G10 needs energy to fight the La5, but after X turning diagramms (meaningless as he said himself) not a single number about climb or acceleration???

And the conclusion: "put away the performance data and play the game", after NOT using a single real number (only data from the game)!

What does the author want to tell us when calling this article "reality check"???

can someone enlighten me?

I can't take that article seriously, because they talk about a BF109 G10 and the picture shows a BF109 E4. Speed at 15000ft seems to be that of the E4.
Another biased author...

Besides, who wrote the document? I certainly wouldn't believe most things I see on the net.

''Speed at 15000ft seems to be that of the E4.''

I agree, it cannot be under 600 kph for the G-10

I agree it's badly written, the introduction, main body and conclusion, all don't tell me what this article is really trying to say.
