hello - thought i'd put up another couple of scans from October 43's Aircraft recognition, but didn't want to stick to many scans in 1 thread. this is by way of explanation on the little sticky out bits on some aircraft - i guess many people will know some of these - but also i think many may find it informative -

also here are two links to 2 other scans from other issues of AR - two "cutaways" of a 109 and 210.

hope these are of interest.

edit sorry - will give cutaway links in a minute when i've done buggering up the uploads /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

cool a bit fuzzy but I can get most of it. Di-pole antenna cool gets me thinking about the old Ham radio out back.

yeah sorry about quality - i'm always conscious of file sizes so sometimes may optimize a bit much.

also it's from October 1942 not 43 as i said (trivial point)

also here is the "cutaways" i mentioned - i hope quality is OK - if anyone wants me to post a link to an unoptimized scan then let us know and i'll put one up (file size will be relatively big though)

(you may have to save them and view in a graphics program as i can't work out how to get that little picture in the bottom right that toggles the image size - hence the pictures download in their normal size but shrink to fit the browser when completed... sorry /i/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif )
