**SPOILER 1ST SENTENCE****

If any of you guys played ACB, you'd know that Desmond stabs Lucy at the end. So later in the credits someone says to put Desmond back in the animus or something. I can't remember what he said but I'm 100% sure that it was not Shaun. So my question is who revived them? Was it Abstergo? And whoever it was, how did they get into the temple of Juno?

Please leave you're thoughts if you know or have an idea of who it could be http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Also, I'm sorry if this has already been posted. I couldn't find any thread that had talked about this.

If I recall correctly, the Da Vinci Disappearance DLC answered this question. It was William M. and an accomplice.

Care to explain what an accomplice is? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Sarari

Also, why and how would it be mentioned in the Da Vinci code if that's when Desmond is still in the animus?

Logic would lead you to believe they are Assassins and knew where they were because Lucy told them about the success of their mission and that they were going to be acquiring the Apple of Eden that night.

They were most likely part of the field team that the Modern day assassins called in to help with retriving the apple.

Well, I am Arabian, so I speak Arabic, but I was born in Virginia and raised here my whole life. I have some sort of problem with reading and I'm slower in it.

Don't think I'm like ******ation slow, I'm just not quick, so I don't like reading, which makes it hard for me to increase my vocab.....but on the bright side, we Arabians made Algebra and I'm excellent in that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

I'm gonna stick with the topic.

Is William related to Desmond, because their last names are the same and since this is a game when everybody is nearly related, I was just thinking that maybe they were.

What do you guys think?

actually i've been thinking about this

desmond's parents lived on the farm with him right? so desmonds father might not have been a very high ranking assassin

so maybe william is desmond grandpa...
im going with that http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Why would them living on the farm lead you to that conclusion?

Genrally, it is believed amongst a good number of fans that Bill M is actually 'William Miles' and not only is he Desmond's father but he is also the one who trained Lucy and Rebbecca.

One of the reason's people believe that William is Desmond's father (or relative) is that during the DLC he talks of Desmond as though he knows him personally. I think he says something along the line of "He'll get out of this, he always finds away"... referring to his condition in a coma, and also how Desmond 'escaped' the farm as a teenager (15yrs old? - we will most likely re-live this memory).

I personally believe Desmond will get himself out of the Animus, to the astonishment of Lucy and Rebbecca, who are trying to quarantine his fractured mind (on 'the island'), but not to the Surprise of William Miles, who knows the potential strength of Desmond. He will escape by finding his Nexus in the sub-chamber (black-room) of the Animus' root BIOS/DOS.

I also think that the surreal sense of the black-room is a concept borrowed from David Lynch's 'Red-Room/Black Lodge' meets Inceptions laws of physics. Desmond has to 'bend' his mind and isolate the memories of his ancestors from his own memories to re-unify his sense of Self. Classic Jungian psychology IMO. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

I also think William may be the current Mentor, but I think Desmond may well replace him.

cuz they were isolated from everyone else, trying to evade detection of the templars, so was just thinking of how much control of the order desmonds father would have

just trying to throw a new idea out there http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

tho i do believe it is very likely for william to be desmonds dad

That's not a bad theory but I still thinks he's Desmond's daddy.

Very much this.

Oh, and I believe Desmond said that he escaped The Farm when he was 16 years old.

Yeah he was definitely 16 (now that I think of this, is it an easter egg for subject 16?)

@naran that's a good theory but remember Ezio was also a mentor and he lived in a farm apparently miles away from civilization. I know he was just the Italian Mentor but by your logic he also needed to be on a easy place to get, and he seemed to be in the middle of nothing. Yours is a good theory anyway

William could also be his uncle. Like the brother of his father. Ill go with that theory. I think if he would be his father he already had met desmond or let him know at least.

"Desmond? Im your father!" *say it like Mr. Evil* http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif

Lucy left voice messages on William's cell, and William answered them by email.

The Assassin's in The Fall seem to think Bill is VERY important.

So I'm thinking Desmonds dad will be one of the higher ups.

Remember, the Assassin's are mentorless and in a bad way in Desmonds time.

Maybe he is a temporary Mentor?

Or would there be a group of Master Assassin's taking charge until a suitable leader is found?
