"unless it is not".......not what, not existing, not there, not what?

try this....

Every thing is "where" it should be unless it is elsewhere......

But, if every thing is where it is, than nothing is where it shouldnt be! Becouse nothing that shouldnt be there, can be there if it's there! If it's there than it must belong there http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Solidified, decent, and wholly profound.

Baldie, the Darwin Awards may be your brand of decoration! All we need is for you to remove yourself from the gene pool to become eligible.

Ah, the Universal Disclaimer Theory (UDT)...
It's quite interesting (unless it isn't), but not original (unless it is), I'm afraid (unless I'm not) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Cheers,

The unification is apparent from the fact that you can take the last word and put it at the beginning. Then it reads "not everything is where it should be, unless it is."

But then again you can take the "not" and place it before the "where", and the phrase takes on meaning that puts the "things" in a binary state (like the original, they can either ALL be in place, or not).

The third and last variation is my favorite. It reads: "Everything is where it should not be, unless it is". I let you figure out teh meaning of this!

Heisenburg people. If you actually expend the energy to determine where something is you've affected it such that it isn't there anymore.

A tad more accurate to say "Everything is 'where' it was when you last looked, but now it's not and what wasn't 'there' may be 'there' now."

So, at best, what was there was there, but no longer is there and other things not there may be there now, but you don't know because if you find out where the not there things are now they won't be there anymore either.

Clear?

I know this isn't new (although it was), but this is unquestionably a good place for it to be now (although it wasn't):

Simply, where it is -or isn't- (http://www.aoe.vt.edu/%7Ecdhall/Space/AFGUID.wav)

[For those who may -or may not- know, it's about missiles knowing where they were and/or weren't] http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

False. Any calculus student who comprehends the concept of second derivatives will tell you that rates of change have rates of change.
