Is there a way to print out the joystick mappings in Control?

Many thanks

Oh, would that there were! Tried a print screen once, and that got ugly.

I printed up a chart in Word from the AEP Control Keys Reference Card, with columns for Aircraft Controls/Views, Joystick buttons/axes and keyboard buttons, and then filled it out in pencil, with a separate copy for each major pilot nationality (German, Russian, US, et. c), since I assign joystick and keyboard buttons according to what is used most often.

I then recopied them into Word files, using the 'Save As' option. I print these out, and amend them as inspiration strikes me (I played this game for almost two years before I noticed the Germans almost never use the Weapon 3 button-it's now the Toggle FOV button on my joystick, while the button used for Reticle Dimmer for LW pilots is the Toggle FOV for Allied pilots).

It's cumbersome, but it works for me.

cheers

Look at Settings files under the folder Users/Doe#

There all commands are kept (each user has its own file) - its not easy to read though (just open with Notepad).

Thanks guys. I seem to be having a problem. My joystick settings seem to be getting wiped out almost everytime I open FB plus my arming screen goes back to default. That's why I would like to have a record of my joystick mappings.

Your suggestions will help a lot. Thanks

I suggest once you map your keys you save that to a folder along with your profile. Keep in mind certain keys like the numbered throttle keys can actually be un assigned if you use your stick throttle to avoid the clutter.

Can you expand on your last comment Bearcat. The one about about throttle clutter and buttons becoming unassigned.

And BTW I am about to try your tip on the Ctrl key to expand the number of programeable functions. Sounds like a great idea.
