Forgive me if there is already a thread for this, i couldn't find one.

What is your favourite place in AC2? Which city, or area did you like the best?

For me, i liked Venice. I like the whole city, but I loved it decorateed for the Carnivale. It was so beautiful. I found myself standing around listening to the music, watching the street performers, dancing and fireworks.
Wonderfully done that.

And i loved the countryside around Tuscany.
Beautiful area. I loved riding through there. It was such a nice change from city buildings to all the greenery.

The novelty of canals aside, I suspect you'll be saying Rome when ACB comes out.

All that water in Venice annoyed the hell out of me.

Venice is cool but persoanlly I loved the atmosphere and esthetics of Forli, the ashen palette and surrounding landscape were pretty awesome.

You can't beat Venice for grandure though, although JC2012 is right... Rome is beyond huge and is likely to spray our brain matter onto the nearest wall when we first see it http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

I'll probably spray a different matter onto the nearest wall as well.

Florence. I love the light red tone, the background music, and the homely feeling you get while there.

Since I live in the countryside, Tuscana is also one of my favorite places.

I also love Venice, simply because of it's large size and it's blue palette. Blue is my favorite color.

Venice. I liked standing there and observing. I'd watched people sweep, guard patrols pass and inspect wells and hay carts. I'd watch the civilians walk past or barter with merchants. AC2 is definitely the most immersive game I've played. If only there wasn't so much texture popping, there was weather and the water was like the water in Just Cause 2 (it was so weird when I was in the gondola and there weren't any ripples or anything just an eerie shadow)

man the time you spent in Venice in AC2 is like PLAYING AN ENTIRE GAME . I have played [prototype] recently and i think playing through Venice with finding all codex pages and all glyphs would take you even more than completing prototype http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

1.Florence - especially the Oltrarno district
2.Romagna / Forli - the city and the countryside are awesome
3.Tuscany - the countryside looks beautiful
4.Venice - Cannaregio is my favorite district
5.Monterigionni - During the sunset looks very nice
6.Appenine Mountains - Looks all right, there is not much things to do there though...

(7.) Rome - When Brotherhood comes out we'll see...

So I guess that's my favorite places putted in order http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Venice, Florence and San Gimignano.

Probably because Venice and Florence are big and fun to run in and i like the atmosphere of them and San Gimignano because i like how big the map is with the the Country-side in it and all!

Forli is the only one i'm 'eh' about. I really like it but it had a bit of a bland, dark sort of feel to it, because it has a dark atmosphere!

But they are all still pretty good!
