Please help me someone!!

Just now, i tried to start up AC2 and while it loaded it said it couldn't register the trophy information so it won't start! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_confused.gif

I checked the trophies and nothing to do with Assassins Creed 2 is there! Even the theme i bought from Uplay can't be accessed, instead it says 'currupted data' there! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_frown.gif

What has happened and can i fix it?

Please help!!

And just a note, i am not trying deleting the data! i have worked too hard on those files! Sorry but i have!

Sony has been updating. Go to the Playstation Forums, a lot of posters said the same thing happened to them. Hopefully Sony will get this fixed and everything will be back to normal soon.

Yikes! It's the Bleeding Effect! Corrupted data from the Animus is starting to affect your PS3! Best hope Rebecca "puts together a flimsy workaround" soon.

Or wait for Sony to fix it.

This is a Firmware issue with most, if not all, "Fat" PS3's. Slims have no issues. This error code is coming up with all games, including those from the PSN. Demos and the free version of "flOw" are the only games known to still work. Sony are currently working on an update/patch to this problem. Don't worry, it's happening to all of us.

it's affecting every single game that has trophies (pre-trophies games that don't have trophies patches work fine)

but if you look at the time and date they are all miles out it looks more like some1 has attacked PSN affecting PS3's as you can normally play all the games without a net connection.

Sony should just fix it by giving us all a free 250gig slim since they still work http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

Wheeww!! At least its not just me!

This is a good reason to unlock the PS3 save data so I could back up my games though Ubi!!

And Personally, I dont gave a dang about trophies, or online profiles, and platinum % completion points and stuff like that. I have been playing games since my Atari 2600, which i still have up in the attic somewhere. I miss the simple fun of beating the games and enjoying them with my friends. Often I think to much emphasis is put on Trophies and things that don't have anything to do with what "I" find fun in a game... playing it, and in AC2's case, replaying it! I do realize this problem isn't Ubisoft's fault tho.

We need to give this bug a nickname, like the Y2K. Error Code 8001050F doesn't have much of a ring to it. Any ideas?

it basically is the same as y2k the calender passed a date causing the system to reset the clock/date and fall over. (this is why it also affects offline consoles)
