Nice one Seafire,

Nice to see it large enough to see your technique - I learnt something there http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Thanks to you too p1

Thnx, guys.
Painter, it`s ok, but not as clean or neat as I would like. I`m working on more. It would probably look better if the size were reduced...

Hmm... maybe this size. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

I very much like the sketchy, quick style and the size enhances that.
Smaller size would indeed make the lines smoother and the whole picture cleaner, but I would go for the sketchy look wich add a great deal of the personality I like.

Well , what I think. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Interesting. Perhaps I`m being too picky in that case.

I agree!

Good art doesn't need to be clean

Great job Seafire! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Seafire

There's a lot of information in the (near?) full size image, that is lost in the smaller image.

Think of the lace in a 17th C portrait. It looks great at a distance, but you have to get close to understand the technique http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Very cool art! However, you tricked me into thinking I was going to see a "Seafire" painting. I didn't realize you were promoting the author and not the subject. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Now you mention it, it seems ironic that i haven`t done a Seafire...

Ooooh, sounds good! Something with a carrier in the background and Seafires loaded with rockets. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Uh, that's a Lancaster and not a Seafire, Pingu...

Great pictures! Thanks Seafire!

Right, back to 'Dam Busters' and 'Appointment in London'. U stop advertising that most magnificent example of airplane ever flown http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
The First place I never saw word 'Spam'´was Paul Brickhill's book 'Dam Busters', that was short of name Sam Spafford if I remember correct.
Definite pity to those who learn 'spam' only referring to contemporary communications. There were also Monty Python and of course the real canned product http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif
