so subject 16 said to desmond that he had to have a sync nexus but that it was too late for him to save himself.but in that cutscene where everybody said he gave his memories to desmond s16 is just away.what if desmond can give s16 a sync nexus?then s16can come back in ac3 AND that is a good reason to go back in the animus before he goes to that grand temple.
what do you think about this?

I think he means that Subject 16 has to relive the memories of all his ancestor until he finds a memory where all the ancestors meet together so Subject 16 can get out of the animus (which is a sync nexus).

but that can't happen, because Subject 16 is dead and his body is not plugged in to the animus.

And subject 16 did ask Desmond if he could go in his body to get in another body that he can take over outside the Animus. But Desmond didn't want that.

It is that new audio that indicates that Clay went in Abstergo on purpose, in an assassin mission. Templars, only made him relive Ezio's memories, that's why they new about Ezio, and Desmond. But they didn't care when he died, and threw his corpse away. Clay was something like a programmer, a hacker, something like Rebecca. Before he died he cracked into the animus and left behind our beloved glyphs, but because of the bleeding effect his consiusnes got trapped into the animus and then it was that he got crazy, transfering the glyphs on the Abstergo walls believing that he was in the animus. It went via-versa for him. He died, his mind still trapped ito the animus, he got the synch nexus, but it was too late, when he got but in his senses, he realized that he was dead, he couldn't return.
