Really nice graphics setup! I thought I had mine setup on max (with all the config, ini changes etc) but this looks awesome!

Very well done indeed.
Great music and sync too.

Anyone know how they controlled the camera angles like that?

I don't usually make assumptions, but based on your post counts, you may not have seen some of the other vids that have been around for some time.

I'll look for links but a few to look for would be:

Come With me
Not My Time To Die
Pictures of War
Requiem

Just to name a few.

Go to the MovieMakers Forum here and look around. There's some really amazing stuff over there.

thanks for the link Viper,

Come With Me is probably the best Il2-1946 video I've seen.

WOW!!!! Ur right that is truly awesome!

How come the graphics look soooooo GOood? is that done in that moviemaking process - I've altered my conf.ini and still can't get it looking that good??

I'm off to search the forums for graphic improvements posts but if anyone can suggest a post link, adive etc (other than the standard conf.ini stuff) then please do so.

Go to the FlightSim Machinima Movie Website...see my SigBlock....to find the very best of all IL2/FB/PF/1946 movies ever made.

"Turtle Island" is/was a pretty fair movie and made the cut for inclusion with other 2005 movies. It would not have made the cut in 2006 and definitely not in 2007. The state-of-the-art in flight sim movie-making has advanced exponentially in the past 2 years.

Unfortunately, also, there are scores if not hundreds of totally Cra*p youtube IL2 "movies" out there....
