I am far from knowlagable about these aircraft so I was wondering if they indeed carried their bombs off center like this.

Yep...and torpedoes too. Just the way it was done...I don't know specifically why.

The center position of the plane had a bombsight for level boming, It might simply be to get the ord out of the way of the sight (sight might need to be on centerline to work properly?)

The offset is correct, although not the extend nor the rack, also the bomb in these screenshot is something less then perfect.

IMHO the current PF Japanese bombset isn't too brilliant.

If you really want to see a wrong bomb rack look no further than the Val.

That is very interesting they would carry their bombs like that. I'd think that it would be very difficult to keep the plane level and not going into a right turn all the time. Thanks for the responses. I've learned a great deal about all these planes from reading here.
