How do i take off? At the moment I am on the carrier deck., but when I press 'B' to release the breaks nothing happens even though the engine is at 110 %. The only way i can take off at the moment is to turn auto pilot on and off in quickly also 'G' does not raise the gear.

Thanks in advance

You must toggle chocks before.
Look in your controls setup and assign a key to "toggle chocks" if there is none assigned yet.

You must be flying the F2F Wildcat. The gear raises and lowers manually. You will need to go into 'Controls' and set a keybind for these functions. I use 'L' to......duh!....lower the gear and 'K' to raise it. It takes around 40 keypresses for the gear to traverse completely up or down. You will hear the windlass ratcheting during this, you can see the animation of the windless if you look to your lower right in cockpit, and you will receive a HUD message when they are full up or down.
(Also the I-16, both varients, and the Brewster Buffalo have manual gear as well).

Check airwarfare for lots more info on the game.

BUY game...read manual...assign keys...take off. It's simple.

Also set elevator trim to nose up before takeoff.
