I think it was by pressing the BACK button (or Select if you're using PS3)

No idea for the PC though.

Actually you want to press the start button (or equivalent) and select the option to view all the seperate memories in the block. As you cycle through them, you'll see some of them will have 'attachments', which you just need to press A or X or whatever to view them. They're usually things like little maps showing archers positions and movements, like you said.

Ah yes, it's been months since I played AC, so I can't remember well.

It's particularly useful against Jubair in Damascus.

Lol, I never knew you could actually VIEW the maps http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_rolleyes.gif
I'm playing on pc, and for that you should (as I believe) press ESC and choose "Additional Memories".
This seems usefull for that second guy in Acre, because his castle is filled with archers http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif
(Even though I killed them all already for the viewpoint.... Do they respawn?)

You mean William. For a second, I thought you were confusing him with Talal, from Jerusalem.

Anyways.. If you kill all the archers and guards BEFORE you return to the Bureau to access the Assassination memory, then yes, they will respawn. If you kill them AFTER you have started the Assassination memory, then no, they don't.
