Four of us fly co-ops nightly. We fly externals on, so that if someone doesn't complete the mission, he can sit back and watch the action (gentlemen's agreement: no peeking until you are down).

The other night one of the guys got shot down, and I was tangling with four Me109s. He was watching one of the 109s as I fought it, when he said he saw the pilot turning his head and tracking me. I have since tried watching for this, but without luck. Is there something in the config that has to be set to see this? I am running "perfect", effect=0.

AI pilots do this. You know if they`re PKed if they stop doing it.

Human pilot`s head does not move.

That's strange, because I can't see it happen on any of the aircraft, AI or not.

Yeah, that's always worked for me too. The AI pilots heads follow a bogey they are after, and the look towards a wingman they are forming up with, and the also look towards any escort targets they have set.

Gives me the creeps, actually, like those 'Chucky' movies!

I think it's tied to one of the effects settings, or maybe the Higore option. I've seen it but don't recall if it's working in my current install.
