Is there a way to change difficulty settings after you start a campaign? I've got about 30 missions under my belt and don't want to start over http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif, but I'd like to tweak a few difficulty settings. I've looked around the config files (etc.) but haven't found anything that looks promising. Not a huge deal, was just wondering. Thanks in advance for your time.

Yep, you gotta stick with it http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Come to think of it, I haven't finished one campaign, I just make the missions I want in FMB lol, the furthest I've got is flying Mustangs in Japan, think that's about 7/8 missions, over a dozen kills under my belt http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif, 6 in one mission, but crashed on landing because I was impatient and had it at 2x speed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_mad.gif

Let that be a lesson to all of you!

Any way of changing aircraft during a career in between campaigns?

I started a career in an F4F but quit it when I was forced to fly FM-2s in the Marianas...

You choose what plane to use per campaign before the start of your career. Use the drop down menu to list all available planes for that period of the war.

I suppose you are refering to things such as 'No Instant Success' or 'Map Icons' or 'Spins/Stalls' which can't be adjusted, but one can adjust things like AI levels, Gunner skills, etc, here's a short list. They take effect at the next generated mission:

CampaignDifficulty=Medium (Easy, Hard)
CampaignAI=Medium (Easy, Hard)
MaxBomberSkill=1 (0,1,2,3 corresponding from rookie to ace)
NoBadWeather=1 (0,1)
RandomFlights=2 (1,2,3,4,5)
CampaignLength=Long (Short, Medium, Long, VeryLong)
