I think it might help future developers of Silent Hunter III/IV if they knew the average age of the people who play the game.
This should give them some idea as to the market they should aim for.
Just vote and be honest!
It is in your interests that we get the best result possible.

You can tell how old people are by their posts.

So I guess that puts me around age 12.

I would like to say thank you to all the Kaleuns who took part in this survey. I hope you enjoyed it.

The largest percentage of votes cast (so far) was in the 31 - 40 year olds with 33% of the votes cast. The 21 - 30 year olds were a close second with 24%.
These two groups accounted for almost 60% of the total votes cast.
Teenagers were in third place with 21% of the votes. Almost a 1/4 of those who play the game are in this age group.

So the majority of people who play Silent Hunter III are between the ages of 21 €" 40 years old.

UBI Soft I think that these figures speak for themselves. The people who play Silent Hunter III and are looking forward to playing Silent Hunter IV want a game that is geared to adults.

Kurtz.

Thank you U301,
I hope this does what you want it to, re, I hope Ubi realise we don't want an x-box experience, we want as close to the real thing as they can give us, as big a challenge as they can throw at us, and the absolute best pc graphics they can show us - minus the bugs.
Yes, very good post

Won't put any numbers on my age, needless to say my first sub sim (Silent Sevice) got boring for me at the age of 14....

(let's see... 14 minus, 1988 or so...)

ahem...

So now, here is another question for the people past 20 and married.....

How do you find time to play this game? Time compression helps, but for the past year I haven't been able to finish the main campaign!

http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I'm not offended. I was concerned you thought it was a cheap shot at oldsters. Not at all. I just have a strange sense of humor.

People like us who have been around awhile don't
have to neccessarily group together for mutual
comfort. Besides, these young little buggers need us around to wipe their runny noses once in awhile. And its a helluva lot of fun trying to
keep up with them just to see if you can.
