Here is an interesting story about a restored P-51D belonging to Microsoft’s Paul Allen. What makes this a project unique? This is the aircraft which flew in combat by Bud Tordoff. Sixty years later they filmed the reunion of Bud Tordoff and his actual combat aircraft.

Paul Allen believes all his aircraft should be “exercised” and I read he is restoring a German V2 rocket, Canada will not be safe when he exercises this one. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

I have also read somewhere is also restoring a ME-262 into flying condition, with the original engines. I also believe the 262 has seen combat.
