Mine are all quite simple

Id like to live on a canal boat perhaps even build my own one day, write a book, and go travelling with my friends before they all settle down and lead 'normal' grownup http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif lives.

Oh yes and Id like to learn Welsh and Hungarian

my dreams are also fairly simple. Which is to marry the woman of my dreams and lead a happy life with her and two siamese cats. This I've already achieved.

But I'd also like to make a living with my music. Nothing huge, no groupies and world tours, although I'll take it if it should come. But maybe as a songwriter.

Anyway good luck with all of yours!

Life's pretty good for me considering my blue collar status.

My dream in life is to die a fairly quick death before I get some nasty disease or ailment that my insurance doesn't cover.

Acceptable ways out would be:

-Fiery plane crash
-Fiery car crash
-Fiery motorcycle crash
-Eating a brick of peanut brittle when I find out I have a horrible ailment. (Allergic to peanuts.)

Of course, I'd like to live to 60 years first, then check out. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif

Find a job I enjoy with coworkers I can tolerate and have some job security.

Live in a place where I can go fishing every day after work if I feel like it.

Live somewhere where I can walk or bicycle to work without worrying about getting mugged or run down by a car.

Find a decent girlfriend rather than the abusive, lazy, self-obsessed b*tches I seem to attract.

I've been pretty happy with what life's given me so far - however...

I want to live somewhere where the temperature NEVER EVER goes above 20 degrees C ( maybe even 15 degrees ). Mountains and snow for skiing would be a nice plus.

My dream? A house for my family to live in, a car for me to get around in and a plane that I will build in my garage, then fly it to go visit my extended family, where ever they may be.

That, plus a job that I feel like going to every morning. Either that or winning the lottery and be a dad at home...

Its funny this thread has popped up, I've been recently questioning my life and have decided to start grabbing it by the balls and taking control of where it takes me, rather than just be its slave all the time.

One dream is to find someplace to grow some roots, where I can raise my family without the BS that shows up in cities and suberbs. Small town for sure, close to nature in some way, though not so remote that it takes me a whole day to get to a gathering of civilization.

Another is to become a successful musician, though my mesurement of "success" has gone down quite a bit from where it was at 20 years ago. Making a living out of it is the goal now, though teaching, studiowork, or side-man gigs rather then wanting to be a rock star like in high school.

I have a "dream home" that I've always wanted. Not sure if that will come to pass, but it would be a pleasant home for sure.

And maybe, one of these days, fly a plane. I remember my Dad taking a discovery flight for his birthday years ago, and that might be all I need.........or the bug may bite so hard I sell everything I own for flying lessons! http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

To convince indoctrinated people who can't think for themselves to quit supporting politicos
here in Ga. who enact silly retro-active laws that trade freedom for a false sense of security, and set precedence that uses the Constitution as toilet paper.

You'd just have to be here to appreciate it.

And to have Jessica Simpson show up at my house and decide to stay.

If you really want to be happy...then stop wanting anything........the happiest people are those who are content with what they have...

the word 'enough' is in very few peoples vocabulary....having it ....and knowing when you have it............absolute bliss

Another thing is that life was very generous to me at one crucial point in my life, so I don't nurture any more dreams, because I don't want to look "greedy" http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif I just want to take the best of what I have today, and enjoy it.

By the way, when I was young(er), I was dreaming of mowing the lawn in my own garden. It looked so beautiful. But when I really got the chance later, I found that mowing the lawn is boring on the long run, so I should have dreamt about having a garden and watching a gardener mowing the lawn http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif

I am married to my best friend of 26 years now.
We have raised our 8 children and they are all turning out to be exceptional adults.
I'm a grandfather for the 2nd time (in 3 weeks) and loving it.
I'm a body man by trade doing something that I've loved to do since highschool.
I make a good living, have a nice home and am able to allow my wife to be a stay at home mom and Grandma.
and I fly with a great bunch of individuals both in my squad and here on this forum. how much better can my life get

Like that guy in 'Thin Red Line', I would have given anything to be loved, but now it's just too late.

I just want a quiet life with no wars nor fears, somebody clever and understanding to talk to, some money to purchase the goods and services I'm fond of, and devote myself to knowledge, simple honest pleasures and good mood.

Shakespeare speaks about me:

"GLOUCESTER: Now, good sir, what are you?

EDGAR: A most poor man, made tame to fortune's blows;
Who, by the art of known and feeling sorrows,
Am pregnant to good pity."

you have been offered a peaceful world utopia with no wars, where there is no hunger, where a woman will never deny you sex due to "head aches"... but no! you had to go and ask for the impossible!

Poor guy. But you don't live here in Hungary, do you? It's a weird place full of weird people.

LOL!

Seya!

Actually, I found Hungary less weird then California. I spent a month there in the summer of 2000. The language is crazy, though. Quite a few rules that don't make any sense to a life-long English speaker. Facinating language.

I had a great time there, lot's to see and do (especially for history buffs), the people were very friendly (especially the women!), and fairly close to some other European cities of interest, about 8 hours by train to Prague if memory serves.

Low_Flyer_MkVb innuendo sig made me laff from the moment I saw it, and it`s a part of the British culture I enjoy!

A lot of other nations don`t get until you tell `em and then they still don`t.... Or they get angry, missing the point again!

Well...Life has kinda taken me by the neck recently and tossed me for a loop.

Just recently became a dad.But I got a great dame outta the deal along with her two boys (they're a package deal it seems http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif).I already have a good job as a mechanical engineer.

To be honest,I kinda like where the road of life is taking me.None of the things that have happened to me over these past couple years have been planned, but I wouldn't change them for anything. So I guess in a way I'm living the dream I never knew I wanted...Hmmm,lifes funny like that I guess http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif
