I would rather buy them. What else would the money be for.

I like the economy system. It's more faithful to the time period and you can now have better weapons and upgrades depending on how well you play the game.

Economy system. First thing I am going to buy will be a 10 pound golden chain with the assassin logo. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif

Don't forget a shiny carriage with heavily tinted windows and really loud minstrels

A flock of courtesans wherever you go http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/59.gif.

You'd have to get Leonardo to invent hydraulics for the carriage

I think this thread got off topic after the third post. It quickly turned into Assassin's Creed Cribs.

lol ya it did,*goes superman* I'll save the thread!! I thin the economy would be better so you actually have to think before your assassinations, cause the first time I played AC I just ran in there and murdered him quickly, these could make u think of cooler and more stealthier possibilities http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/shady.gif

I wonder if the upgrades will have downsides. Like heavier swords limiting your capacity for other tools or whatnot.
(*squeaks out one last comment about Ezio using the hidden gun sideways, gangsta-style*)

Just picture that, first the way Ezio used it in the trailer, now imagine him turning his arm 90 degrees counter-clockwise. Is that gangster?

EmperorxZurg

the angle it was at was actually gangster, cause its already turned 90 degrees regularly, so if he did turn it, it would look normal http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/blink.gif

I like the economy system. I mean it gives you stuff to think about, apart from killing ppl. I like the 'buy' screen they showed in the dev diary too.

How exactly do we get the money? I guess pickpocketing is the obvious answer, but does Ezio need to steal? I mean he's a noble. He must have tons of money.

EmperorxZurg

we probably have a healthy amount to start from with the "heritage" money and pickpocket to get more

Second. And it's "requiesca ti pace".

I joke around knowing most people would go serious. So, they did mention tailors once, I'd love to go there first.

ahh noxie, I'm sorry, but i went onto an italian site, it's requiescat in pace, it's pronounced your way, but spelt my way. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/25.gif

We're all wrong.

It's not the Italian for "rest in peace"

Our assassination target is secretly a robot, and he's actually saying "rust in pieces" in Italian.

On the actual topic though, I think different vendors will sell different items, and some will require you to have completed a certain mission, or certain number of missions, to get their upgraded products.

Some may have their own side missions, some will probably be affiliated with one of the factions you can side with, and the more you help their faction, the more they help you.
