How do I get my resolution to work?

I bought a 24" wide screen which runs at 1920 x 1200 res - and I just loaded up SH3 and all my dudes faces are stretched out. Not to mention the impressive length my uboat now boasts.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Any way to correct this?

Thanks in advance
Mike

SHIII does not give you the option to change the resolution of the game as does SHIV. I've used this file (http://files.filefront.com/dx9res10zip/;9690704;/fileinfo.html) with success in XP. It does not seem to work in Vista, however. The file is called dx9res10. Hope this solves your problem.

Just out of curiosity which make and model of 24" monitor did you purchase? I just purchased a Samsung 245 BW 24" monitor and really like it sofar.

245B is one of my monitors as well and I'm also succesfully using the Dx9res10 fix.
I bought that one simply to be able to have my desktop cloned with same resolution to 275T.
My 226 BW's maximum resolution was "only" 1650 x 1050.
But given the quality 226BW is still by far the best monitor of them all.

The only serious drawback of 245B monitor is a very narrow vertical viewing angle.
Given its size it's almost usless for photo editing, but it's a good gaming choice.
