It seems that the new drivers that come with the Nvidia 6800 (and you have to install them, the new card wont work on the drives on Nvidia's site) hose the game.

Screen basically garbles up, and the game tries to lock-up (sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't).

Other games work fine (I have rune Dark Age of Camelot and Lineage II with no issues).

Anyone else run into this problem?

Thanks,
Dave

There have been some problems with both nVidia's and ATI's next gen cards. They are new as is the game engine so bugs are still being ironed out. These should be fixed with future drivers and game patches (already in the works).

However this game is also incredibly demanding on PC's, so I'm curious what the rest of your system looks like?

A gig or more of RAM and a decent CPU and power source (especially for that card) can have an effect. Outside of that defrag and shut down anything in running in the back ground (if you didn't already know this), including Window themes and background images.
