Im replacing a 40" 1080p samsung HDTV that I have been using as my computer monitor...I cannot wait to have something with proper refresh rates at a higher resolution. I found out that my HDTV only puts 1080p out at 24hz...pretty much think I found the source of my headaches when I saw that info.

Im running two 8800ultras in sli, so I should have enough video muscle to power it...I will let you know how it goes with IL-2 gaming...gonna need a magnifying glass to see planes in the distance though...lol

yo, that looks awesome. I have a 24" LCD @ 1920x1200 and gaming on it is great. I don't have a HDTV or know much about them, what resolution does a 1080p or 1080i system run at?

Nice work dude. Let us know how it works out!

Stingray, 1080p is 1920x1080, basically the same as your monitor except it's 16:9 ratio instead of 16:10.

I've looked at XHD3000 a few months ago. But it seemed like it is so large I would have to turn my head back and forth to see it all unless I sat about 2.5 - 3 feet away from it. Let us know how you like it.
