A week ago, our virtual squadron made a trip to the biggest and bloodiest battlefield in Czechoslovakia, the area of Dukla Pass. It is still possible to find there mortar grenades, helmets, gun cartridges and even after 61 years still dead soldiers are found and buried in military cemeteries. I hope you will enjoy some history stuff and lot of pictures.

Wow, that is excellent jurinko. A very big thankyou for information on this battle.

It is a facinating battle and virtually unknown in the west, despite the fact that it part of an extremely bitter, long fought and a very bloody (with about 126,211 Soviet losses, plus somewhat less than 6,000 in 1st Czechoslovak Army) campaign by the 1st and 4th Ukrainian Fronts to clear the Ukraine and break into Czechoslovakia and southern Poland.

Thanks a lot! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-happy.gif
