Matrox has announced the TripleHead2Go a few days ago.

A great way to have three screens and be able to use the latest greatest videocard (instead of Dexmeister's Matrox Parhelia).

But at 299 dollars it's not cheap and you have to buy the extra monitors.

It's compatible with Pacific Fighters.

Well that's just plain neat. I already went with a widescreen TV, but if I hadn't already bought that, I'd probably get this (I have 2 spare 19" CRT's that I could put on either side of my 19" flat panel).

The limited resolution kind of bothers me... 3840x1024... most new panels are 1600x1200 native (4:3)... though I guess you could buy three cheap old ones~

I'd want 5760x1200... three 16:10 widescreens~

That is now on my official "Saving Up Money to Buy It" List.

The price would be a hurdle for me now, although I'm in the market for a new PC (hurray, finally!)

@lairdperkins: I don't think the new 1600x1200 panels are up to 1280x1024 standards regarding latency or backlit uniformity. Better three cheaper good 19" 1280x1024 monitors than three 'cheap' 1600x1200 monitors.

But even with 3840x1024 I would like to see some benchmarks in Pacific Fighters.

How powerful is it?

Yeah, I've got a not-so-cheap 1920x1200 panel so the point is kinda moot =P

Honestly if you have the room, it'd probably be just a cheap to find three identical slightly used 19" CRTs and run em at any resolution you want. With the latest round of PC upgrades, most bussinesses are getting rid of perfectly good CRTs in favor of "svelte" LCD panels...

@lairdperkins: haha, I don't think my desk would be able to support the load of the 3 CRT's.

@d9720267: your present videocard dictates how powerfull it is.

Wow, I just had a look at this thing on the Matrox website, and I have concluded that it's AMAZING!

And here I was racking my brains to try to figure out how to do triple monitors using 3 graphics cards on a fancy motherboard, when all along there was this! W00t!
