Haven't got the game anymore, but still have the handbook. You know, handBOOK, not like leaflet.

The only one? And what makes you say that? http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif

Well, ....IMO, IL2 was fairly significant. But that's just me. I played AOE as well as AOTP and really enjoyed them both but let's be honest, IL2 was to WWII flight-simmers like methodone to a heroine junky.

How is IL-2 not like AOE and AOTP combined into one? Sure you have to patch the bejesus out of it, but with DCG and added planes in patches, the only thing that seperates the two is the Aces series has carrier torpedo bombers but IL2 gives you level bombers.
Plus, in the next addon we get mosquito and kate which makes up the differnce.
I will say that the dynamic single player campaign was structured better than IL2 with DCG. However, a slightly less but equally dynamic campaign with alot more eye candy as a fair trade in my book. Besides, they don't make em like they used to anyway.

Are you trying to say that it helps them to quit?

Nevermind... "IL2 was to WWII flight-simmers like methodone to a heroine junky" - if it helped someone, it for sure ain't helped me to quit!

True. I haven't robbed a single bank...or prostituted myself ...since discovering the Il2 series.

Ah yes,

For me, the flight "sim" that really started it all!
