My employer's server does not permit me to access that site; however, I doubt that 'handling' is something that can be completely quantified to everyone's satisfaction here.

A lot of it can be subjective; cockpit ergonomics may vary somewhat from culture to culture (French aircraft had their throttles opening 'backwards' by most other countries' standards, for instance).

Beautifully conceived and designed control surfaces can be completely nullified by poorly engineered internal linkages or mechanisms (early Spitfires, Bf 109s and P-47s had severe control problems due to ballooning fabric covered control surfaces).

Design priorities may be misunderstood or unappreciated (Japanese and Italian fighters were 'too slow' because their fighter corps had a priority for maneuverability, the American escorts too heavy because they needed to carry more fuel, burned off or jettisoned upon reaching the combat area, where they were sufficiently competitive).

Yada yada yada...

cheers

Open cockpit is thrilling, nothing like feeling the wind in your thingamees.
Loops can be dangerous in open cockpit one could have a crack up.

That would be the summer flying suit.
