View Full Version : Ohka Released

Now at Flying Legends' G4M category, pg 2. My first skin for the community, after years of downloading and admiring everyone elses work. Used the recently released void from Ubi, was a joy to work with - unlike the HE 111 for example. Used PSP and finished with Bright. This Ohka has no particular source for it's markings; basically a mixture of elements found in several photos that I thought would look pleasing and capture the essence of the ship. I tried to restrain myself with the weathering and paint chipping, to merely reflect a lot of handling on the ground and perhaps being moved around a lot, prior to it's first and last flight. So you won't find a lot of oil stains or heat patina from the rocket exhaust.

Much Thanks to JaVA_Serval for hosting the "meatball" on the fuselage, and to Elephant for providing the extremely dedicated pilot to fly this thing. Also to JaVA_Serval, Canon_UK, Avirex, Tchaika, Aero Shodanjo, and countless other "Skin Meisters" for providing me the inspiration to get started.

Thanks SeaNorris. Yes, I do have the the layered PSP template, but it's not something I'm particulary proud of just yet - detail on the "shading" layer, markings on the "detail" layer, chocolate in the peanut butter - that sort of stuff. So if enough folks want an unmarked or un-numbered version, I'll see what I can do. Now if I could just get that "screenshot thing" to work...

Do you need Paint Pro to see the screenshot or an other program?...like to know http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Hello Heliopause; No, don't need anything special to see the screenshot. My original post was a little confusing due to my ignorance at posting stuff. Thankfully, SeaNorris posted my originally intended shot a little further down the page. Here's another, let's see if it works. Cheers.
