Hello everyone, a bit OT, but I thought this might be of interest.

Shockwave have just released a flyable He-219 for FS2004 and it's absolutely beautiful. No combat possible (beyond ramming trucks on the parking area) and you fly the aircraft in the modern world (not the 1940s), but the 3-D cockpit is as good as anything in IL-2 and the external model is quite extraordinary. On top of that, FS2004 has tremendous weather and engine-management options beyond those available in IL-2, including random failures, so it's a great pleasure just to fly the aircraft around and encounter realistic clouds, crosswinds and turbulence. The flight model feels very good too. Engine sounds are excellent. Makes for an intertesting diversion.

Cheers,

RocketDog.

Check the video out! Great looking model and animations. If only you could shoot stuff in FS2004 then I'd be interested.

Only if it was possible to just transfer 3D models from one game to the other....

oh well word on the street is we'll be capable of nightfighting in later addons of BoB.

Until then one can only drool and imagine!

HI! since this thread is about FS9 i would like to ask a question to you or to anyone who plays FS2004

How come the AN-225 that i download at FS .com download has no virtual cockpit? i already ask on a forum at FSdwnlds but nobody seems to answer everyone who needs help so i think its a good idea to ask here, where people are very helpful indeed http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif
