The PBJ obviously lacked the glamour of the Corsair...Since pilots tend to categorize their birds as women, using such terminology as "sweet," "sleek," "unforgiving," etc., I can only characterize her as a "mother-in-law." Dumpy, dependable, and loud. ---- 1st Lt. Bob Jardes, VMB-611 USMC

What route do you plan to take?
1. Boarding a cruise from Asia. 2. Hitching a ride with resident government workers. 3. volunteering for three months of environmental duty. I think option #3 is the best. Do ya know if we get 3 hots and a cot? http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/88.gif
Ok mabey after I get my 46 DVD, play it for 3 months then I'll be good to go. We'll do two tours while waiting for SOW Battle of Britain. That should give us plenty of time to Scuba Dive and Surf. Plus remember how we were virtual pilots in the real world http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_cool.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

While the reef is nice at Midway, I'd rather hit some of the Solomons (Guadalcanal comes to mind). More WW-II wrecks and aircraft to see on the bottom. They say Palau is also VERY nice with multiple ships and aircraft. You can also find trips to the Rabaul area. Truk would be awesome but almost all the diving is deco and we're not rigged for that yet.

Have discussed doing that for some time and I believe also Bikini Atol as one or the other were running Charter Fishing out of them and the Marlin Fishing was said to be exceptional....Hope it doesn't get too civilized, I prefer it a bit more casual/savage http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

Tarawa has some stuff left as well, tanks, guns, japanese MG pillboxes and dug in Tank turrets.
Underwate3r some more stuff supposedly, but am not a diver.

The outer islands sure are a beauty there:

Kiribati/Tarawa (http://www.tools4fools.info/KiribatiGAL.html)

Go for it if you can, just any of the Pacific islands, it sure is worth it!!!!
