this is official, we cann say.. everybody knows who reads olegs interviews.

but when maddox decide that is not everything perfect a they will still have anought many, nothing will push them.

so when no 4Q 2007, then 4Q 2008.. why? because christmas time!! every biznisman knows this, its basic rule.

Kozhedub: In combat potential, the Yak-3, La-7 and La-9 fighters were indisputably superior to the Bf-109s and Fw-190s. But, as they say, no matter how good the violin may be, much depends on the violinist. I always felt respect for an enemy pilot whose plane I failed to down.

There's an easy way to predict the release date of a Maddox title.

Its the 'multiply by 3 rule.' Take whatever the length of time is between the first announcement of the game's release and the date it claims the release to be on. Then, multiply that time by 3, and add it to the original length of time.

You should get an accurate release date.

For example, about 4 months ago Ubi claimed BOB was to be released in November. Its november now, so BOB will be release in 12 months time.

The AEP was first announced as 'ready for Christmas' a month before. In the end it was released in April (so near enough.)

I think it was patch 1.2 that was said to be '2 weeks.' and it was released a month and a half after the date passed.

Oleg - I was dreaming to make Meteor, but third party didn't make it finally (left unfinished)

Don't blame Oleg for that - there's an OLD (heard of it in the 80:ies the first time) rule regarding software development. Take the project time estimate and multiply it with ? (pi). That happens to be very close to your findings so the rule is proven yet again...

hehe...I just built a new conroe rig so Q4 2007 release is perfect as I'll be able to justify an upgrade by then. (maybe a shiny new 2nd gen DX10 card!) http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/winky.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

yeah. I bought a new PC last week! When BOB comes out tho I'll be able to upgrade it easily enough, because the motherboard is amazing.

I got

Pentium D 945, 3.4Ghz
1GB DDR800 667 RAM
GeForce 6800GT 512MB
SATAII hard drive

But, to add to my original comment, you can bet your life that Manchuria/46 will NOT come out on Novemver 17th! It will be beginning of March instead, as per the rule.

Well release the game just about then when I have a decent job (after this university madness), and have enough time to kill the ... err.. RAF-maniacs? Honestly we have Luftluvers and -whiners and... and... what? Are the Luftwaffe guys (like me) the only ones with such a rude nickname http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/35.gif ?<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

2007?

Ok, I'm going to go ahead and get that PC upgrade I wanted THIS Christmas.

And when BOB does hit the shelves, maybe I'll even do it again!<div class="ev_tpc_signature">

Seems the retailers that sell games, and gamespot, are under the impression that SoW will ship Q1 2007. Looks like many are taking pre-orders. Ivan, is your response official or speculative?

My response is not official because i am not official http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

You can call it speculative, because nothing is concrete with software development. But that`s the time Maddox is shooting for. Whether his crew gets there earlier or later, is another question http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif<div class="ev_tpc_signature">
