I opened the game the other day to play some offline action. As the flak was hitting me I noticed something odd on my plane. This only happens during offline play.

Here are some pictures..

Anyone know what is happening here?

You are using IL2 Manager right. Go into game tweaks and turn off arrows and bubbles. It's fun at first but then makes your plane look like a dartboard

OK, it's obvious that you have flown over and disturbed a hidden village of primitive New Guinea natives, more popularly known as "head hunters" by Allied servicemen during WWII.

Badsight.

Arcade Schmarcade.

That's clearly an example of the secret 'rarely to be revealed' third major superpower during the second world war: The conical Freebos of Fribulous Zax. Here they can be clearly seen utilising their 'swarm of cones' attack to neutralise a hapless Allied bomber. A lightning fast furball of Freebo cone fighters is are repeatedly ramming the bomber and dissolving its structural integrity.

Those 'feather' shaped anamolies are the plasma trails left by the wormholes they used to warp into the area. Allied and Axis pilots alike were terrified of the Cone fighters, as they could appear anywhere, anytime, with little warning.

C'mon guys, I thought you had a solid grasp of War history here?
