I go in to get some chest X-Rays today, The left side of my torso has hurt on and off for a very long time now and questions are rising about it maybe being lung cancer....

If you got a spare second today, keep me in your thoughts. I'm pretty **** scared.

Wish you a lot of luck on your tests,Amon 26. I've been home all day baby-sitting my wife. She had surgery yesterday. A day at the hospital isn't ever any fun, especially if it's you they're poking and prodding.
Let us know how it goes.

Good luck mate!

It may be nothing, or it may be something serious. If it is nothing, you have nothing to worry about. If it is something bad, it's better to know as soon as possible, and get something done about it.

been a long time since I posted here, but I do wish all the best. My father died of lung cancer and I wouldn't like to hear of anyone from here going through that. Best wishes.

Believe in Jesus who conquered sin and sickness at the cross of his crusifixion. He took it upon himself in your stead. It is not his will that you be sick or in bad health. Trust him, and call on his name. He will be with you allways, and my prayers are with you as wellhttp://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Wow, I really appreciate all your support here guys. They're all done with the X-rays, and I was told I'd hear on monday.

Worst case scenario, I'll be willing to go get that whole lung removed. I don't wana fool around with it.

Thanks again you guys. Im really touched

Good luck Amon, I've been through something similar and have an idea what you're going through right now. The most important thing is to keep thinking positive and carry on as normal as possible.

I wish you the best in all things. Try to be at peace. If you believe in a higher order, now is the time to believe in it. See it as only peace and love. That is the will of the universe, for us. When we feel separated from that we feel fear. We feel fear over our bodies. Our bodies are in time and space. There are dimensions beyond time and space, these are our true homes. That is where we are when we are in bodies as well as when we are not in bodies.

My wish for you is peace at all the levels and remember the Source. Your best interests are being taken care of.

Peace Brother

Fingers crossed for you mate. My thoughs go with you. I have had two full medical checks in the last 6 months and getting the results back is always a slightly agonising experiance.

Hope everything checks out A O.K.

I will wrap the leg bones and chines of a calf in fat, pour dark wine over it and burn it my cooking fire as a prayer offering to Zeus for you. Hope that will help. By the way, has anyone seen my copy of the Illiad? I'm sure its round here somewhere!

Hope that it isn't cancer because it's a *****!
Recieved the message that I had cancer in the summer of 2003 and the world turned upside down.
It's okay now but I would never want to go through it again. Let's hope for the best that you don't have to go through the same things that I did!

Good news or bad news, remember every day is a blessing.

That said, the very very best of luck, from the bottom of my heart. I've been there, the worst part is waiting and not knowing. Keep that mind busy, spend normal time with loved ones.

Let us know, my friend, how it all works out.

Slickun said it well.

PS: Please post your results - if it turns out well, I'll fly the P47 at least an hour a week (I've done a deal with the Big Guy upstairs). Greater love hath no man....

Amon I have had many surgerys, hang in there. We always seem to think of the worst.
And then we find it is not as bad as we thought.

There are a lot of good people here that will be thinking of and for you.

Best of luck luck, I hope it's nothing. I've been smoking for 15 years now...i'm just 29...I gotta quit, plus all those joints and the fumes and **** from my work. Your situation reminds me that should be my priority right now.

I never go to the doc, I think I'm scared of any bad news... http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/51.gif
