I haven't played IL2 in forever and what really captured my interest was the multiplayer aspect. Since I moved I haven't been able to find my CD's, so i'm going to have to purchase them again, What versions should I get and subsequent patches?

Get the 1946 version; it's everything that's been released, all on one DVD. Then download the 4.08 patch and you're totally caught up.

I think you are talking about Greatergreen.

Unfortunately is not running anymore. http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/bigtears.gif http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-sad.gif
There are other servers like that one runing tho. Try Winds of war, Historia, Spits vs 109's, Zekes vs Wildcats, Uk dedicated 3 and a load of other servers that I missed http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/1072.gif.

All you need is the 1946 DVD and the patch 4.08m.
Welcome back sir.

Ya, that was it, it had exactly the settings I liked(icons at a certain distance, 32cap, realistic landings)...hopefully I can find a server that replicates that experience. I can't believe I ever left.

P.S I still remember Bearcat and Crazyivan. =D
