I have just been trying IL2 FB with my new Radeon XT9800 and I cannot believe the difference compared to my old GForce 4 Ti4600.

3 times faster I think. Before I could only run Perfect mode with pretty low FPS and very little planes and NO AA and AF at all.

Now I can run perfect with 4 AA and 8 AF and its smooth as silk. Even with lots of planes and objects.. I love it. One should think that the 2 products where made for each other because they just work so great together. Thank you ATI and Maddox!! U rule!

Barton XP2500@2800
ATI radeon XT9800
1024 MB PC2700
Asus KT400 MB
Audigy 2

It doesn't surprise me that much considering that you have the most powerful 3d card in existence basically. You're making me jealous though! I'm working towards getting a 9700pro or 9800pro currently.. from a ti4400.

Lol, FrankoFighter you lucky so and so http://ubbxforums.ubi.com/infopop/emoticons/icon_razz.gif

"As weaponry, both were good, but in far different ways from each other. In a nutshell, I describe it this way: if the FW 190 was a sabre, the 109 was a florett, or foil, like that used in the precision art of fencing." - Gunther Rall
