When the sun is at a 90* angle and the moon rises 12*'s above the horizon then and only then will it be released.

I saw a similar post over at CWoS, but with no result. I doubt that we will get some concrete answer about this.

tbh I don't think that even dev.team knows.

Don't know why people are so anxious to find out when it comes. Most are gonna whine about this and that when it comes out anyway.Thats just how things go around here it seems.

That will be the most probable situation. I myself am quite thrilled with all the stuff that is coming in add-ons but I am not 'weighted' about the release dates.

And one other thing; I don't want to sound harsh, but I know that we aren't getting much stuff Spit MK.14-ish like (too bad that one aren't gonna make it) that will be much popular, we are getting Fokker, Avia, Mosquito (much wanted but once when in game I doubt that will be more popular than for example Bf-110) etc.
The ones that will be really popular among most FB players are:
1. Tempest
2. Do-335
3. J2M3
and probably
4. G.55/MC.205
pretty much in that order.

Only because of performance http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif.

Other planes like JU-88, Mosquito, Avia B534 or Fokker D.XXI will be favoured by few... that is my opinion in spite of all posts on forums that may say otherwise.

I think we already have well enough planes! IMO im really into the pacific right now making coops and stuff, so my only grunt is that id like to see a Japanese Torpedo Bomber(Kate) or a Flyable George, caus the ingame Georges are beautiful! BUT i know we will not get either of them, therefore i have already put this add on out of my mind! (Unless we get a MkXIV but i highly doubt that, in fact i know we wont). So thats my input...

Maybe there's a strategy to stretch things out to bridge the current fan-base to the next gen-game?

They obviously need to keep people interested.

I quite disagree. Offline the Ju88 and the Mosquito will be flown a lot.
Online they'll both be what the Beaufighter isn't due to the mute rear crewman. So, again they will be flown, and maybe not less than the Tempest and the Do. And don't forget all those Mediterraneans who will want to fly the Macchis.
Even if the new planes don't appear a lot in the online servers, the offliners might not be as loud but they are much more than the onliners http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif.

Wrong order! http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-wink.gif

1. Tempest
2. Ju88
3. Mc.202/205
4. Mosquito

Are those Italian planes that good?

Yeah, the Mc.205 was very good dogfighter with excellent armament. It's one of those a/c that should fit into the online DF environment very well, like the Spitfire and Bf109.

You have just hit the head of the nail http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif. Just to be mentioned I see myself in that group since I am only occasional online player.
Norris McWhirter, although for me quite radical in some of his views, has got a good ironic picture in his sig on this theme.

@ faustnik I didn't posted my fav order just what would be the most favourite planes for majority of online players considering up to this date experiences with new patch lesser perfoming planes. I reckon that JU-88/Mosquito will be flown a lot in the first days, but since I know that being shot down a lot is hurting many egoes online I don't think that these would be used much more than other bombers after the "new plane thrill" is gone. Then I reckon that everyone will be back to their Bf-109s, LAs, FW-190s, Spits, P-38s...

Doh, we will see... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

Kuna,

Our squad flys a lot of campaigns online. We are hoping that the Ju88 will be the new LW workhorse. We need all the help we can get in the air-to-ground department.

You are 100% right for DF servers, whatever turns the easiest and rockets up the fastest will win the most fans.

From my point of view the JU-88 & "Ma-Skeeter" (lol went a lil redneckish there) will be most welcome. I'm big on bombers any way & i like the Ju-88. IMO was much more NEEDED that the Do-335....especailly for the Eastern front it's been LOOOONg needed. the 335 will be popular for about the 1st 2 or 3 weeks but ppl will quickly abandon it when they become pianfully aware it's not going to be much more than a twin engined target drone. the Mosquito
will be about as popular as the Ju-88. and the Tempest i suspect will surpase the Spitfire. Simply beacuse only sisy boys fly spits and real men fly tempests & typhoons.
:-) TYPHOON now theres a real mans plane. ;-)
Such a shame that one went down the ol' crapper along with so many others....like the P-47N & M.
Dount we'll ever see a tempest for many years.
but those are the 3 i'm looking forward too.
Tempest
Ju-88
Mosquito

Absolutely agree with you. You have summarized my thoughts in few sentences. JU-88 will be welcomed by Luftwaffe bomber fans (I saw your post on CWoS http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif).
Now if torpedo loadout is intended for this bomber that would certainly be outstanding. Any word on this?

JU-88A-4 crash site (http://home.no.net/kjellsor/hjerttind.html) (torpedo tubes can be seen on site)

I plan on flying it for as long as it saw historic combat operations.

Kuna,

No clue on the torpedo for the Ju88. We are hoping that it is faster than the He111.
