I don't know if you guys ever noticed that, but have you ever seen the AI dodge the bullets in a way which looks like it knows where they are coming from and going to?

I heard people use hacks like this in multiplayer (the hack calculates where your prey will be in a few seconds). Do you think the AI is using such "features" to loose you from its tail?

well i dont know if the ai calculates the lead but, I experience very often that when i'm on the six of an enemy and at the momment when i pull the trigger he emediatly pulls away even when am out of ammo..... http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_eek.gif

Yes, The AI, even though completely blind seems to know when you are in effective shooting range/ pulling trigger.(Slip S at .35 klics) but they are poor at defection shooting. have you noticed that they will stay ten degrees off for 30 sec of shooting. Seems they have unlimited ammo! LOL cheers BD

Yeah, I often see a huge stream of tracers going past, that steadily move left or right to get closer to me. I can doge it matrix style. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_razz.gif Usually I just break though.

AI gets their Revenge in large furball, when you can't keep track of them all. I find those most interesting because many AI can somewhat cover up their "AI~esque" nature more than You against a Few.

There was a Patch, long ago, that had AI occasionally fall out of control and spinning, just like Player. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif

I hate to tell you guys, the AI only knows when you open up and spray em'. You should probably close until you're waaaaay too close, and then close some more!!! Than at less than a hundred yards EVERY SHOT hits <ggg.> Hartmann said that and it remains true to this day. The "Great One" preferred shooting from less than thirty metres or in other words less than a hundred feet. All the best, LongHorn

I believe it's been proven that the AI is aware of when they're in the gunsight and within your convergence range....a friend has found that if he uses this knowledge against them, basically forcing them into speed-killing bat-wing maneuvers by continually placing them into his gunsight until they're so slow they can't bat-wing away any longer, he's able to defeat the AI regularly.

I believe every one of us have his own way of dealing with AI.

There is several interesting features that AI have implemented and most of all I found the evading AI manoeuvres to be on top.

I can boldly stand by my statement that no (online) player has ever evade my bursts like (ace) AI has.. there was several good online battles that I had vs. human players, but they are in almost 90% of times predictable especially if I play against good and outstanding players. Another words, in the moment when one player get into disadvantage position (by outstanding enemy manoeuver or by his own mistake) further combat is predictable in the way that player with advantage wins. That happens 90% of the time when experienced players play.

I mostly measure experience of online player by the way in which he use his advantage (once when he gains it) over his oppo.

Situation is totally different with AI. In one momement I can have enormous advantage (alt) and in another I lose almost all because of some inhuman evade AI manoeuver. Yet, AI can made rookie mistake also even on ace level.

The only real 'killer' for AI is what Spectre-63 says.. you can continually put AI boogie into your g/s to drain his energy out (AI will then made all kind of manoeuvres and rolls http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_smile.gif). Then you can park on his six in close range less than 100m -- he wont escape for sure just keep the distance. It is good tactic vs. lone AI fighter. But, (there's always but http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_biggrin.gif) if his friends are near then we have situation there.. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

Also they are not aware (or in very weak degree) when you BnZ them.. ok, they will be aware of your presence but once when you get in vertical dive on them they will not evade succesfully as they do in horizontal fights.

About convergence I don't know I suppose that makes difference in the moment when AI will begin with rolls etc., but generally, they begin somewhat between 280-400m. And if you close too much on higher speeds, they will most certainly escape/evade you.
