Yippee!

In case you had not heard, which I admit I had not.

I thought that they were going to a Museum in the States or something.

I love flying boats (as my nick indicates). Great news for the Canadians. Use them well! They are beautiful planes.

yea, past a Lockheed Constellation, this one of my fav planes. When I read the original story proposed to my husband using it for service between Fla. & the Caribbean....That discussion ended quickly http://forums.ubi.com/images/smilies/16x16_smiley-very-happy.gif

Great! I live close to these things, I have REALLY got to get out and see them. Saw one flying last year coming back from a fire on Saltspring Island, most impressive.

WOO-HOO! Good show Parliament. (or is it Funkadelic?)

Either way that's great news. Us Oregonians already have the Spruce Goose (http://www.sprucegoose.org/) so it's only fair.

Why hasn't someone made this a sim? Maybe throw in an A-26 along with these beautiful Martins. Include some strategy involving wind direction, weather conditions, fire propogation and movement. Provide nice maps of California, Colorado, some choice Canadian locales, etc, etc. You might have big wildfire scenarios that require multiple planes coordinating efforts (online play). I'd buy it!

I mean, come on, who wouldn't love to do this...

Mmmm Holly Hunter - What were we talking about? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v476/GreyFox5/homer_simpson.jpg

Oh ya man it must cost a lot of money to keep them flying.
