Hi All, just got the game and installed the 3.3 and 3.4 patches but am having difficulty with the following:

1. I've got all the settings on easy but when I finish a mission I can never figure out which base I need to land at. I landed at one once, it said mission complete but then nothing happened. I had to quit to get anywhere. The second time I landed, but didn't even get mission complete even though I wiped out every fighter.

2. The missions are not clear as to what you have to do. The first mission had a bomb icon on the map which I presume meant I had to bomb something but there was nothing obvious.

3. Its so slow flying in formation so I tend to put the auto pilot on and speed up to x8. Problem is the Autopilot crashes into the ground frequently. My other solution was to fly at 110% power with x8 but then someone starts moaning about me going off course. Also when I do this the invisible man seems to shoot down my planes. What is going on and what can I do to fix this problem.

THanks.

One other option is enable INSTANT SUCCESS in the difficulty settings. As long as you live to the point where you stop the game, you can usually advance. Unless you bailed or were in teh process of being shot down over enemy territory.

I also suggest setting difficulty to Normal settings as soon as you feel comfortable motoring around in your plane of choice.

This game has a steep learning curve, but if you hang with it you'll get as artistic as I am at making flaming holes in the ground with your plane. http://forums.ubi.com/groupee_common/emoticons/icon_wink.gif

SOme good info here too. http://www.il2flying.com/component/option,com_frontpage/Itemid,1/
