Hi All. I have my joystick axis settings set at,

pitch. 0 5 10 17 25 33 43 54 71 100
roll. 0 3 7 15 25 35 50 66 84 100
yaw. 0 8 19 29 39 51 62 75 86 100

I had these settings from the original IL2, are they about right for F/B and also what about, deadband and filtering?

I use a Saitek Cyborg evo force stick.
I installed the original IL2 recently which i had not touched for many years and realized that Foregotten battles is more forgiving, also the sound of both engine and weapons[ inside and outside the cockpit]seem to me more realistic in the original.

I hope that this attention to sound will be a factor in SOW when we get to play with it? I still have not heard a Merlin purr whether it be a Hurri/Spit or P51 in FB or 1946...Cheers

They llok ok.. but stick settings arte a matter of:

A)Personal Preference
B)Stick Type
C)Individual Flying Style

thanks Bearcat. As you say its a matter of preference,I think I know what deadbanding is, but what function does filtering perform?

Cheers.
